# The rules

1. **Snapshot first.** Before anything is announced, the machine
   freezes who holds what. Nothing acquired after the snapshot counts.
2. **One wallet, one faction.** Pledge once per wave. Locked after the
   click.
3. **You must hold to pledge.** Eligibility comes from the snapshot
   roster of each community.
4. **Capped weight.** A whale is worth a few members, not a hundred.
5. **Waves end.** At the timer, the standings are final.

The machine remembers who showed up.
